Vice President and General Manager
With 30 years of experience, David Miller serves as LinkEx’s vice president and general manager. He has an extensive background in the transportation/logistics industry having worked in leadership roles for several nationally recognized companies. Prior to his stint in third-party logistics, he was a regional sales manager for Saia. David strives to build long-lasting relationships with customers by fostering a more personal feel to “doing business”.
Vice President of Logistics
Scott Jandacek is LinkEx’s vice president of logistics. In this position, Scott is involved in all aspects of managing the company’s operations, with an emphasis on business development. He has 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, having successfully worked in both sales and operations. Prior to being named a vice president at LinkEx, he had been serving as the director of 3PL sales at Saia LTL Freight.
Director of Logistics
As director of logistics, Joelle Haynes, along with her team, manages the outsourced logistics division of LinkEx with regard to staffing, process improvement, and technology. Prior to her role with the company, Joelle held strategic sales, operations and project management roles for others in the logistics industry. She possesses a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee.
Director of International Operations
Kristin Hackett has worked in the transportation and logistics arena for more than two decades having started her career in the exportation of air freight. Since that time, her expertise has grown to encompass imports and ocean cargo. She has handled many different types of shipments including general freight, hazardous materials, and project and oversized cargo. Kristin is a qualified individual, or QI, and possesses both a NVOCC license and hazmat certification.
Director of Final Mile Services
With over 20 years of experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry, Lance Appleman has joined LinkEx as its director of final mile services. He has extensive firsthand experience in developing, analyzing, and managing network operations, having served in leadership roles in both operations and engineering for several national LTL providers. Lance is energized by the opportunity to help the LinkEx team achieve its vision of providing best-in-class final mile service in all markets that it serves.
Director of Warehouse Operations
Steve Burr comes to us with 29 years of experience in warehouse management, which includes 15 years of extensive knowledge and experience with third-party logistics. He advanced quickly in his career with positions such as Regional Operations Manager and Operations Excellence Manager, to his most recent as Senior Site General Manager.
He takes extreme pride in stabilizing and maintaining customer relationships and satisfaction, and has provided exceptional leadership, support and guidance over the years to his former facility management and staff. Steve has strong P&L Management skills and contributed to many financial successes throughout the course of his career. He has a significant passion for site restructuring and has completed multiple start-up operations. He leads by example with a strong work ethic and becomes fully immersed with productivity enhancement and process improvement. He ensures strict adherence to safety procedures and policies and has a high standard with respect to structure, efficiency and accountability.
Senior Manager of Operations – Atlanta
Senior Manager of Operations Felicia Rogers oversees the Atlanta division of LinkEx. She has worked in the transportation industry for nearly 20 years and began her career as a part-time biller for a privately owned less-than-truckload carrier. Since that time, she has held positions in customer service, linehaul, truckload pricing, expedited, operations and is hazmat certified. As such, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the LinkEx team.
